How do you define gender equality? Like there is no difference between men, and women, no gender roles, or anything like that? Battlestar Galactica style where everyone calls each other sir?

Depends how Gender equality is defined. Women should have the same rights under the law if that is what you mean. If you mean getting rid of gender roles altogether then I don't think it will ever happen. I just can't envision a world where some girl talks shit at the bar, gets punched out by some guy, and the rest of the bar doesn't give a fuck. They all laugh at the girl for talking shit, and the bouncer comes over, and throws her ass in the street.

In the 1st World, Gender Equality is near if you ask me, lest some lunatics who are indebted to predominantly 19th century values fuck up the whole thing here in the states. As soon as this abortion debate ends and the fucked up things over "equal divorce laws" (which favor women to the extreme in many cases I've heard), the only issues that would remain relate to individuals themselves, but not necessarily to society as a whole (kinda like Racism nowadays). This don't mean women can't be women and men can't be men (or men can't be women, but let's stay on topic), but that we ain't far from recognizing and respecting one another for who we are, not for what some stupid ass hick in overalls and suspenders breathin' through his mouth thinks we should be. However, go to the Middle East, shit, Jesus the fucking Humphrey Bogart Christ, ya' better radio Houston...
With regards to feminism, I'm like this in my definition: there's a difference between Feminism (equality) and Feminazism (femme fatale). I'm a pointy-nipples kinda cool with Feminism, but I ain't cool for Feminazism, especially when it's trying to mask its ass with Feminism. If you're a feminist, we're straight, but goddamn, if you're some kind of feminazi, I ain't wantin' shit to do with ya'.

Or hell, work retail... Had one a couple of weeks ago that refused help in loading an 80 gallon water heater into her Hummer after spitin' off on one of our loaders for being a man. A little 110 pound lady, with little wrists.
Very amusing ten minutes later to see her ask for help.

Nope all of my "feminist" friends are completely rational and nice. And any men-bashers that I know IRL, it's not because they're feminists it because they have a childish attitude.
That's all this really boils down too. It's not patriachy loving rape apologist misogynists to blame or feminazis to blame; people are just fucking dicks. People. That's it. Some are nice. Some aren't. And we shouldn't undermine a whole group of people based on the ignorance of a select few.

Yeah, people are childish, but I for one would like to single out the individuals (or groups) that practice and preach the ignorance while trying to justify it at the same time with a bullshit ideology, rather than harm the actual feminists and the decent guys/gals (and in between) out there.
