Film Directing in Hollywood seems to be predominately a boys club with relatively few high profile female directors in Hollywood in relation to the number of Male Directors.
Do you think this is something that will change as time goes on or is Film Directing a career path that appeals more to men than women?
I'm not trying to say that women can't direct good movies. My question is more about whether the small number of female directors is the result of the residual effect of sexism or simply that movie direction is a job which appeals to more men than women
