If it's crap... We'll tell you

I admit that I never got very far into the first FEAR game. I found it boring as hell. Nothing would happen for long periods of time and every so often a creepy girl would try to set you on fire for no reason. Well, I'm sure there was a reason but I didn't find the situation interesting enough to make me exploring for an explanation.

Origin has a lot more going for it off the bat. Nuclear fallout, a hospital under siege by a branch of clandestine government super soldiers, ghosts, bazaar experiments gone awry...and this is all before you even make it out of the facility. The outside environment is simply terrifying.

So if you're like me and were simply bored to tears with FEAR, I suggest that you try giving this prequel a chance. It's creepy, it's absorbing, and I can't wait to see what the hell is going on this time around.

I've never played FEAR, but I hear the same complaints. Now critics are criticizing this new game for doing nothing new, but admit there's a lot more going on this time around. Personally I'm interested in playing this game over the original.

It seems to me that they didn't have enough money or manpower to make the game they wanted the first time, so they just tried again and got it right.

I played the demo, and it was fun. But I am a little tired of not enough story driving the plot.

I don't think this is a prequel. Alma was released and she nuked the city in the beginning of FEAR 2: Origins. That didn't happening until the end of the first game.

Its not a prequal, Side Story about the event after the nuke from another point of view.

But other than that, It looks Great! There are parts in the demo where I just freaked out, especially if alma popped out. I don't think its as scary as say Dead Space was where anything can come out at once, but they come pretty close.

My review for what I feel is the best movie of the year and quite possibly the decade! James Cameron has done it again!
