F*ck Superheroes! Name your fave Non-Superhero Comic.

Okay...first off, I gotta clear some things up. I don't hate Superheroes...hell, I'm an old man when it comes to superhero comics; got into a two-page debate with Leon about Superman before...

That said...there's a DAMN good amount of stuff out there that can easily kick Iron Man's ass, pwn the Avengers, and smoke the Justice League.

Name/list your favorite comics that have nothing to do with Superheroes. And if you want, you can throw in a manga or two.

Sgt. Rock and Storming Paradise are the best out right now. Rock has him and his Company stuck as part of the "Lost Battalion." It's a fictionalization of a true event during WWII in which American troops were cut off by the Germans. Storming Paradise is a "what if" story in which American scientists screw up the A-bomb and Japan has to be actually invaded by American soldiers. Both are excellent series although, if I had to choose, I'd say that Sgt. Rock is the better.; ▶ Reply to This
