So what are your favorite Sandler films?
Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, Funny People and maybe Billy Madison for me. I haven't seen The Wedding Singer or any of his dramatic stuff (If you class it as one I've seen Funny People) so I can't say anything about those.

Permalink Reply by Green Tea on November 23, 2011 at 3:53pm Easily Punch-Drunk Love. Paul Thomas Anderson is one of my favorite directors, and he showed us that, with the right direction and character, Adam Sandler is a terrific actor.
I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I actually like Anger Management. It could have easily been mediocre, but Jack Nicholson sells the whole movie for me.

Just Go With It
Permalink Reply by Kizmania on December 18, 2011 at 4:29pm Easily his two worst movies. Just Go with is probably the worst movie I've seen in a long time.
Permalink Reply by Joe on December 18, 2011 at 4:59pm Are you saying 50 First Dates was worse then Jack & Jill?
Permalink Reply by Kizmania on December 18, 2011 at 5:21pm Actually I haven't seen Jack, and Jill so I'm not sure. I don't plan on seeing it either so the ranking of crappy-ness will most likely remain a mystery to me, but you never know it could be funny. I mean I'm the only person I know who thinks pauley shore was funny. So I like to give most things a chance.

Permalink Reply by The Frizz on December 17, 2011 at 10:49pm Punch-Drunk Love. Without question. A great, experimental story, a sympathetic lead, and some wonderful humor.
Haven't seen The Wedding Singer, but I'd definitely like to.
Permalink Reply by Annaka Marie on December 18, 2011 at 10:54am Grown Ups
Permalink Reply by Kizmania on December 18, 2011 at 4:52pm If you include Happy Madison movies then my favorite has got to be Grandma's Boy. Shit just hits really close to home.
Dramatic stuff I gotta go with Reign Over me. I thought him, and Cheadle were great. Also they play Shadow of the Colossus.
His Best comedic performance, and most likable character is Robby Heart from the Wedding Singer. Movies I own, and love are Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Big Daddy, The Waterboy, The Coneheads, and Airheads.
Movies he made that weren't great, but didn't suck include. Chuck, and Larry, The remake of the Longest Yard, Anger Management, Eight Crazy Nights, Click, You don't mess with the Zohan (that's right I said it, in fact some parts of that movie are laugh out loud funny) Bulletproof, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, and Bedtime Stories.
Still haven't seen Punch Drunk love.
