I've been flipping through my GI issue with this in it. I'm interested in it. I thought it was neat how they took the real life history of Oswald and Mickey and turned it into a game. I also like how it is delving into Mickey's bad side. The Mickey I grew up with has always been the squeaky clean leader who can do no wrong and it will be nice to see some more to the character.
Although, I'm not too keen on the moral choice aspect. Almost every time someone drops a game into my lap and claim it gives me all these ethical decisions to make, I find it is almost always black and white. You can be a malevolent asshole or a glowing angel and thats it, which is always disenchanting to me.
Well I think that Disney wont get amazingly "deep" into this. But they will get as serious as they "Can" get...like in fantasia. I personally like the new mickey, it harkens back to the old days, where he wasn't so "gee golly gosh". Mickey was a cute mischievous little guy back in the day and thats what i see in Epic Mickey.
Hehe about Oswald, its funny that Disney lost that character to "business" and his comeback was Mickey, the rest is history, and now Oswald is back in the hands of its rightful owner.
I know. I doubt they'll get very deep either but I am still very interested. Like I said, I never got to see Mickey as the rascal he began as. But who knows where it will go.
And I am also happy that Oswald has returned home. I think the rights to him were traded for some sportscaster, which is such a strange trade that it made me laugh. I don't know about sports so I have no idea if it is a big deal or not.
