And tell me something Dr Jay? Since when the fuck has Spill.com become the latest extension of goddamn Youtube? What does this little bit of "Footage" have to do with any movie being made, or has ever been made, or even about any movie that is in the works to BE made?

If you want to enjoy your old people fighting drunks, then go and stay on Youtube. Don't bring your obsession with pointless, useless and moronic videos to Spill. If we want to have a bunch of youtube videos based on old people that get into fights, we would put up a camera at a nursing home. This is the exact shit that I've been bitching about, and sure enough. No more than 24hrs of being back, here it is. I strongly suggest you either close this topic, or delete it. When we want this sort of shitty attempts at humor, we'll turn to Dane Cook. At least he has the balls to bring us something original, and not found on Youtube.

how can you agree with mds? When was the last topic on the shootin' forum that had anything remotely to do with movies? If you want movie stuff, then the shootin' the shit forum is probably not for you....

I really enjoy some of these random videos, and if it weren't for spill I'd of missed this one altogether. It just seems weird that he takes the time out of his day to write that response. He's apparently pissed about people wasting his time, you would think he wouldn't waste his own...

Last 3 days:

This topic, maybe this one, or this one about podcasts, a discussion about a movie in theaters, regarding a television show, about Brian Brushwood, another TV show.

All of these topics were actually an attempt to have a conversation about something related in the entertainment field, or even about movies specific. I don't deny that the Shooting Shit section is a hodgepodge for topics, but just posting up a youtube video doesn't take any effort and brings nothing WORTH talking about.

There are subtle lessons to be learned from this thread...

old ladies take cheap shots, old people are very nonchalant when they scrap, drunk bitches are retarded... those are just a few life lessons right there.

It would be nice if he wrote something about the clip instead of just posting the video, but I think I know what he was trying to say.

Tell me something Sav-vy-bag, did you log onto Spill.com or Youtube.com? Because if I'm not mistaken, I clearly see the Spill.com logo and banner on this particular site. We aren't Youtube, we don't need Youtube to continue to rot away at the last strands of intelligence we have left on this site.


Look, we get it. Drunk people are going to do stupid shit, hence the use of the word DRUNK. We don't need to fucking see it, and really don't need to see it when it involves Drunk people doing the exact same thing that you were taught NOT TO DO as a 2yr old. Really, is that were you want to go? Like I said, at least THIS GUY has the originality to create his material, and not just put up something from Youtube.

Then start a group, or STAY ON YOUTUBE. Really, let's be honest about it eDDo....

IF you enjoy watching stupid shit that is on youtube, then that's your option. IF you look all over youtube for these types of videos, then by all means have fun doing it ON YOUTUBE.

But to bring them over to another site, and assume that other people will enjoy the same video that you do is moronic. At least other people that have posted stupid shit from youtube have been nice enough to make their TOPIC labeled as "Dumbest Youtube Video" or something to indicate the intent of the topic IS TO post youtube videos. If Dr. Jay had labeled his topic something like that, I would be fine with it. But instead, it's "Elderly Couple Fight 2 Drunk Girls". We no longer need to even BE in this topic, since the whole intent of it was simply to post this particular clip. What are we supposed to discuss? The camera work, or the sound quality? Not a single indication of something TO TALK ABOUT. It's simply here to put up the video, without any form of discussion purpose.

"Do you think the elderly overreacted?" , "What's up with the outfits?", "Did granny beat you like these two beat the drunks?" See what I did there? I inserted a QUESTION to open discussion between people. See, that's what topics are made for.... to have DISCUSSIONS. But putting up a video, with description of video and no topic to discuss sort of defeats the purpose of having it put on the forums to begin with.

THAT is what I'm bitching about. A forum topic that has no PURPOSE other than to post a video, and that is all it's there for. Use a bit of common sense regarding your posts (Generic use of the word "your"), and I wouldn't have said a single word.
