If that isn't enough they are bringing multiplayer into and that could be awesome. Next you can uploud files from the first two games to bring in the the warden and Hawke because you play as some new guy and you can meet them. Finally the warden and Morrigan's child will be in the game. So anyone else excited for this.

Hopefully they learned from their mistakes in Dragon Age 2.... which was pretty much the entire game aside from the Qunari being remade in to a race of complete badasses...

Permalink Reply by George Knight on March 20, 2012 at 4:46pm Having LOVED and defended DA:O to the extent that I did upon it's release, I can safely say that Dragon Age II was one of the most disappointing things in my entire gaming career. I don't think I could handle another train wreck of such massive proportions, my heart just can't take it. I just want that franchise to go away.

As disappointing as Dragon Age 2 may or may not have been (I haven't played it so I don't know), that doesn't mean that the franchise shouldn't have a chance to do better. This is Bioware's chance to look at Dragon Age 2 and say, "Ok, we tried some things that didn't work in the last game, how can we fix that for this one?" Will, they take advantage of this opportunity? Hard to say, but they have the chance to do so and should be allowed that opportunity.
Of course, I will not be purchasing the game if there are sprites and back freckles. Everyone knows that nothing ruins a game faster than the most minuscule things that would be unnoticeable unless a 4chanite mentioned them.

Assuming they actually did learn from Dragon Age 2 and they give this game a goddamn appropriate development time- assuming all of that- this actually sounds very promising and I'll definitely be keeping track of this one.
One thing that stuck out to me from the Wiki:
"Combat is also expected to differ somewhat from its predecessors and focus more on a player's ability to prepare, position and form a cohesive team with his or her party members,[4] requiring fewer repetitive finger strikes but better thinking."
Sounds great. It also sounds a lot like Dragon Age: Origins. Makes me sad for what Dragon Age 2 could have been but, you know, spilled milk and all that.

Permalink Reply by Talvi on March 20, 2012 at 3:48am If by multiplayer they mean you can join others on your adventure kind of like a co-op then I'm okay with it. If it turns out to be some seperate deathmatch kind of crap then i'll pass.
But I didn't like DA2 all that much, I like the combat system better than the DA:O system but the graphics in 2 felt like a step back and they fucked it up with only having like 3 different enviroments and the fact that their idea of different dungeons was the same map but mirrored or with parts blocked by a wall.
