I am reading some of the past big events of Marvel (Civil War, Secret Invasion, World War Hulk) and I'm the type of person who likes to read things in the order that they happen. But I was wondering does anyone else feel that way or do you just say screw the reading order and just in enjoy the story?

I think the last couple big marvel cross overs, at least civil war and siege, should be read in order. blackest night and brightest day don't really matter.
Secret Invasion is a good stand alone story. Siege could be too I suppose...... COme to think of it you could read most events in any order but of course it helps to have that little knowledge of reading in the correct order. Contrary to the above statement, read blackest night before brightest day please. in fact read Green Lantern in order.
Why do you think brightest day and darkest night reading order matter? As long as you have a basic idea of what goes on in darkest night, brightest day is still enjoyable. I mean, I'm enjoying it. I could be wrong.
well, firstly, i think you meant blackest night not darkest. Brightest day, besides being about these 12 characters, is explaining the white lantern power. Might as well begin with it's original first showing, which is blackest night. Also, the end of blackest night IS the beginning of brightest day. it's the very start of the story for these characters. Why would you skip the first chapter of a book?
you're right i did mistype that. sorry
