Let me explain. Whenever i listen to a review by the spill crew, they explain the plot holes of a movie. For some reason, these plotholes never occur to me as i'm watching a movie.
Does this happen to you guys as well, or do you notice plot holes right away?

I don't always miss them but I'm not often that bothered by them. It would take some serious doing for the plotholes to be what kills a movie for me.

I'm with you, like I was never bothered by the "plot holes" in the Dark Knight Rises that everyone was riled up over.

Some of these plot holes are either nit-picking, or they just aren't holes. The best example that comes to mind is in The Dark Knight Rises when it supposedly goes instantly from day to night when Batman arrives at the chase from the stock exchange. I watched the movie a second time after hearing about that plot hole and you can actually see the progression of the sky getting darker from scene to scene.

continuity issues are not the same as plot holes

Ah. I sit corrected.

I ALWAYS notice the plot holes!

Sometimes I'd like them to go, but then I'd have nothing to complain about and really be miserable!

Lol

Sometimes a plot hole is just something a director or writer lets the audience fill in because it's minor and these don't bother me.  However, things that just don't make sense do, even in books, catch my attention.  I think I may be the only one who is troubled that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire went all through the mechanics of having Harry entered in this tournament and winning the events enough to get to the center of the maze to be transported by a portkey when all Crouch Jr./Madeye had to do was invite him into his office to get Harry to touch a portkey.  It didn't make sense to me and to this day, it irks me a bit, even though the book was a fun read and the movie was nice.  It also bugged me when underage magic was punished yet in Azkaban and Half-blood, Harry does underage magic without detection. Or leaves a newspaper with moving photographs open for anyone to see in H-B.  I don't know if these are plot-holes or just non-consistancy within the mythos of a series or universe, but they do get to me.  But with most movies, I get too sucked up into the world being presented to me that I get lost in it and it isn't until much later that I think, "wait a minute..."
