I think Depp would be a perfect replacement for Heath Ledger. He might even play him better and with the Joker back on screen Nolan can put characters like Harley Quin in the movie.
What do you guys think?
Oh, well that is true. People talk about the movie way too much but most of the time it's about how great it was or how overrated it was. This time it's about the casting for the third movie.
1) There have been forums about who's being casted since the Dark Knight came out A YEAR AGO! Everyone's sick of it by now.
2) Christopher Nolan has already decided that the Joker will not be in the third Batman movie.
3) No, Johnny Depp would not be a good joker. Johnny Depp is an amazing actor, but the Joker is not his style. He is not the kind of person to play a completely psychotic killer. Johnny Depp usually plays an eccentric, somewhat nutty (nutty, not psychotic) character who is likable despite the fact that he isn't exactly a 'normal' person (look at Captain Jack Sparrow, Edward Scissorhands, John Dillinger, Willy Wonka and his character from Blow whose name escapes me)
Art, just because Chig said I am a wannabe slum kid doesn't mean it's true. I really don't know where you guys are getting that from. Are you guys calling me that because I love Slumdog because thats one of the films I love that takes place in a slum.
Was it because of the icon? That last forum? or do you guys think everyone that loved Slumdog wants to be one? If thats so, then I am a wannabe Homosexual, Russian, Korean, African American, Japanese, women, gansta just because I watch films with them in it
