i liked it. Actually when i was watching it i was expecting it to turn into a two parter. but i love the part where the introduced Live chess and the burial chamber for thoes beheaded by the headless monks.
Great episode, terrible season finale.
What an awesome ending. I cant believe I didnt know the question. It was so obvious.Brilliant episode though.

I actually new it right when robot amy talked about the Silence and the question in Lets kill Hitler. Couse i kept making DC Question jokes when she said that. But i was actually was wondering how the doctor was going to cheat death.

meh. apart from the chap being swallowed up by the skulls (quite eerie for timeslot, i thought). not good. the unanswered question (isnt that a Charles Ives piece??) nonsense fills me with dread, if this is what the next series will be about, gooodbye then. we "know" WHO HE is, a timelord who stole a mark 40 tardis, as he was annoyed/affronted by the gallifrieans "hands off" attitude. if Moffat fiddles with this, then he will really annoy the fanbase.
I'm already annoyed and he hasn't done it yet. I'll make a prediction: flashback to the Doctor's childhood within the first three episodes.

[MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS]

I'm sorry, but after seeing Steven Moffat turn around what appeared to be dud story lines for the last two years and making them mindblowingly entertaining I have to say that I'm really excited by the question. And the question isn't a referance to who he IS but what he's called, which has been a mystery since the show premiered in '63.

dont care, thats not the bloody point etc, i just have to accept that its not what i grew up with...and should treat it as such....
I feel like Steven Moffat is already building things up for the Who 50th anniversary. I doubt they'll do that in the first three episodes, or even next season
ohh have the first or eight doctor in it. i know the actor that play the first one have been dead for years but it would be awsome :D

I'm not a a fan of Dr. Who but I caught a few episodes towards the end and I thought they were rather entertaining, especially the finale.

I may just have to watch more Dr. Who.

As much as I enjoy the season finale (by the way, did the screwed up timestream remind anyone of the Civilization games?), I kinda miss the "everything condensed in one season" mentality that we had with the David Tennant era.  I've been waiting for three seasons to find out if my theory on The Silence is correct and I'm sick of waiting!!!!
