Do you think some anime films will ever be considered classic?

I just got back from yahoo "top 32 greastest animated films".It had like 5 meiazakie(that's gotta be misspelled, lol)movies including Howls moving castle(which is the only one of his films that i've seen).
I read a couple of coments along the lines of"get this stuff outta here. All anime sucks".

Don't worry,im not gonna go into a whole"anime is good too!!"rant.
I just want to know what you guys think.Any Classic anime movies?
Here's the article if you want to read it,btw.

lol,as stan lee says'nuff said".
Am I the only person not crazy about this film?
I didn't see the film, but the manga was incredible.I still have to finish that last volume.
And I suddenly have a lot of movies that I need to rent tonight, lol.
If you like the manga, you'll hate the end of the movie.
No you aren't Ozma.

Personally, I liked both Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed more than Akira.

Akira had a more visually stunning presentation. But the way the story was cut short for the Akira movie, they left it feeling only 1/2 told. Ghost in the Shell is what I've always called "A thinking man's Akira", so I liked it's more philosophical points of interests more.

And Appleseed was just a wonderful action-packed movie that got sort of over looked due to the Macross, Akira, Ghost in the Shell time period. At the release in the States, Appleseed was sort of "back burner" to the "Big 3".
No your not Ozma, I'm not that crazy about it either.
No, it's great until it starts going batshit crazy with the plot and stops making sense.
I use to think I was the only anime fan on earth who didn't like this
Story-wise, you get to the ending and you're like... "ok?" but the whole thing is so dark and creepy and weird and that's what i loved about it.

I didn't see the vally of the wind, but I read the manga. It was pretty good.
And I loved the Ghost in the shell movie.
