Depp as Lestat and RDJ as Memnoch

I think the current studio talk of RDJ as Lestat is all wrong.

I was shocked when they cast cruise the first time, liked Townsend the second time (but t he movie sucked)...but always pictured Depp as I read the books back in the 90's.

Even though he's older he still looks a lot younger than RDJ.

Fincher should direct perhaps...I like his OCD... and penchant for realism...
please oh please I hope this movie doesn't get to over stylized.

see more realism more realism like real life and the vampire's just happen to be there (significantly)...not real life or surreal life stuffed into a vampire story
