If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Theredknite posted a statusi am playing dark souls atm, and i would be very interested in the spill crews opinion on the game. is there a suggestion box for the loading bar?
also, do studios send the loading bar people review copies of games the same way companies like ign or cnet get them?
finally, i would be curious if any of the spill forum members have been trying this game.
thank-you in advance for your consideration of this subject.

Some studios send Kevin Baird review copies and he distributes them to the other members sometimes. I don't know if this has changed.
No, but from what I played of Demon Soul's it was very unique and a good game in it's own. Dark Souls seems to improve on that and I can understand people loving it. I'll definitely give it a go eventually.

Most of their reviewed games are some of the most generic the game industry have to put out.
If the review is funny it's ok but if it's not going to be funny then they should do it in a more professional way because this is supposed to be a review not a first look.
Just look at the way the "reviewed" Total war:shogun and you'll understand.

I have been playing the game for the past week and really am enjoying it. There are so many paths to be taken in the game that it is very easy to miss something if you don't plan on going back and exploring. Dark souls improved on Demons Souls quit a bit. This time they have an entirely open world where you unlock short cuts to different areas but have no true linear path. The gamplay I would say is a little harder than the first (which was ridiculously hard), the amount of obtainable weapons and armor has increased, and the diveristy of the levels has definitly improved. I'm only about 12 hours in, but am craving some play time as I just got a drake sword and need to see how badass it really is.
Hope they do a Skyrim review when it comes out.
