We all go through problems, and we all have to cope with them somehow.
Before giving my answer, I'll just tell you what I'm looking for. What emotional or philosophical problems (or just things in general that get you down) do you commonly run into, and what do you tell yourself to overcome it?
A common example would be people who compare their lives to that of starving children in order to realize that "it could be worse."
I bring this up because I just watched Boyz N the Hood and City of God and immediately felt horrible for ever having felt inconvenienced about anything in my life ever.
We all have our daily battles. Some days are worse than others and it seems as if we all seem to persevere even though in the end we are all worm food anyways. The best coping mechanism you could say that i have is if i don't like something i try to change it and if that don't work i learn how to deal. You should never underestimate the human beings ability to adapt.
