Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs:
Ok, so last night i saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Let me start off by saying i generally don't like children's movies. Pixar movies i love, but those are just downright loveable. This movie, was probably the funniest movie i've seen all summer. I found it to be more funny than the hangover. It was absolutely hilarious. It might be in my top 20 movies of all time. Not only is it hilarious, but the visuals are AMAZING. I dont think this movie got as good reviews as it should have. Has anyone else seen this? What did you think? Discuss.

I don't agree with those who say that it's on par with Pixar films (they tend to push the envelope), but it's still extremely well executed and incredibly hilarious. It's a great example of taking a fun (but goofy) idea and just running with it for all it's worth.
I later learned that it's from the creators of Clone High. It definitely shows.

By far my favorite animated film of the year! It's charming, inspiring, visually amazing (in 2D or 3D), and, as you said, hilarious as hell!

Cloudy doesn't really change anything in terms of animated films unlike Pixar films, but it's still a great animated movie. This is the funniest movie of the year for me as well. =)
