You're obviously not an actor, otherwise you would know better than to say he's a bad actor. You could say he's not as great as everyone believes, and you'd be right. But saying he's bad is just stupid. You don't have to like him to acknowledge he's at least good at what he does.

"reset the special effects" - I like this one.

Christian Bale is not bad, but he is definitely repetable - he played almost exacly the same in batman, and terminator.

Most of this video has nothing to do with acting. His one complaint regarding acting, is about the Batman voice (every one makes fun of that, but the die is cast for how "Batman" now sounds. There is hope he learns, and improves Conner). Is Bale a dick? Could be, but so is this pod caster. He's not giving a argument, he's yelling angry, irrelevant non-sense. Not a single point beyond the voice, just "Any one can do better". You can't even argue his point, because how the hell do you define "Hardcore" based on this guys well constructed rant?

not bad. but he's not as good as he used to be. he used to be a decent actor.

I don't think there was anything wrong with his performance as Batman, besides the voice. Not like it's a easy character to pull off, as half the time, Batman is a monolith, and the other half, he's a phony. Not that Keaton did any better, while in full costume. At the ninja house, with Alfred, and Fox, in the Car with Rachel, Bale is enjoyable, and believable.
Conner is a writing and directing mistake.
McG: OK, your weary, and your angry, GO!
Bale: Wait, what am I doing?
McG: Your talking in a radio.
Bale: Oh, ok. I get to actually talk with some one at some point, right?
McG: Nope, your going to fight CGI robots, and Yell at people later.
Bale: You really don't care I'm here, do you?
McG: No.

To be honest, he did get that one scene with his new wife that was passable. His interrogation of Marcus was pretty bad ass, but considering that's the exact same frame of mind Conner has been in the whole time (only angrier), it really had no effect, once we got there.

Christian Bale is not a great actor, but he's passable, entertaining, and I don't mind if he's part of the next generation of action stars, thought he's running out of passes, quickly, regarding that voice.
