Denis McElwaine posted a statusIt's the most wonderful time of the year right now. Christmas is in two weeks, there hasn't been any big snow storm ( Something new for Ohio) and the economy could be making a come back. It would all be perfect if it wasn't for one thing. The Dark Knight Rises doesn't come out for another seven fucking months! The more I see of TDKR the more I want to make a time machine and go to the future. But I lack the knowledge of cars and a shortage of a Flux Capacitor to do so. With the release of the prologue this Friday and a new trailer surfacing in the next weeks, makes the wait feel so much longer. So can you wait seven months to see the film or can you. Or are you some troll who thinks The Avengers or the new Spiderman film will be better. Because FYI it won't be so don't bother posting.
Post what you think in the comments bellow.

Permalink Reply by Ohstate411 on January 22, 2012 at 5:22pm Ok I think I should've worded this better. I meant trolls who will hate TDKR just because they hate the fact it's the third movie of a very popular fanchise. Or because this movie is more hyped than the movies i've listed. I didn't mean to call everyone a troll.
Permalink Reply by Einrick Quiznos on January 24, 2012 at 10:30pm Here's what fans of the Nolan Batman series don't quite understand why they receive such push-back: It's not that people like myself HATE the Batman series. The movies are decent. Good, but not amazing.
Instead, it's that people like yourself keep reminding us that it's the greatest movie ever made. You can't accept that the film may be a bit mediocre. If a person like myself sees it as anything less than amazing, you flip your shit.
Consider this as an example, and also consider how you would feel: There is "Mr. B" and "Mr. C". Say Mr. B likes ham sandwiches. He doesn't love them, but he enjoys them well enough every once in a while. However, Mr. C declares ham sandwiches are the greatest food ever, and anyone else that says otherwise is an asshole, or a "hater." If Mr. B says he likes ham sandwiches, but enjoys burritos much more, Mr. C jumps on burritos and the people who like them, then declares them to be a lesser entity than the almighty ham sandwhich.
If you can look at this scenario, and say Mr. C is completely right, than you may have brain damage. If you can look at this scenario, and understand why some people would be slightly annoyed with Mr. C, than congratulations, you now understand the problem with some "batman" fans around the wonderful world of the internet.
