The Spill.com Movie Community

If it's crap... We'll tell you

We, the members and mildly psychotic patrons of Spill.com, love our opinions. We love to share them, we love to exchange them, we love to read the opinions of other about that medium that brought us together: movies. Within moments of ANY infomation being released about anything film-related, we are all over it and ready to sound off to the public. Yes, we love our opinions.

We also love even more to take a huge, steaming crap all over it.

Now negative opinions about a movie or project are expected, but it does seem to me of late that the Spill community has taken rather strict sides: We either love it and hate it, little middle ground.

Are there bad films? Well, duh. My point to all this is...are there movies that could be fixed, could be given a small touch-up and become good?

So here is my challenge to the Spill Community! I want you to take a film YOU think could have greatness if it just got a bit of work, and then tell us how you would fix it. The rest of us can debate if your version fixed it, or made it worse.

Let's see if you really could do better.

Play Nice out there.

28 Days Later. The 3rd act which consists of the military men trying to rape the women because they haven't been laid in 2 months. Don't these idiots realize that the Rage didn't spread to the rest of the world? They act like the nucs were dropped.

I think the problem is, no they did not. If I remmeber that part of the movie, communications WERE down across Britain. But I agree with your point. The attempted rapes, which would have included an underaged girl, after only 2-3 months of seperation was a bit of storyline and pathos that was unncessary to the film. Are we saying that military types cannot go without sex for a few months before they rebel, or is it just a stab at men in general? There were plenty of potential avenues for this, and they took the short-cut.

Personally, I would have added a small civilian population in the manor and explored a microcosm of a trapped society under seige. Think of the manor as a castle under attack by a barbarian horde.

I'll choose an old one,1998's godzilla(the t-rex looking one).I don't think the problem was the look so much, but how vernuable he was,I mean he got killed by missle's.the real godzilla wouldn't even feel missle's.Im pretty sure the angry video game nerd said this already, but the best way to fix that godzilla movie would be to
1)make him indrustable at least to the army's weapon's.
2)get another monster for him to fight. It could turn out like a less dumb version of dragon war's.
3)give him his fire breath back.Taking away his fire breath is like taking away spider-man's web's(once again, the avgn already said this)
lol,I was just gonna post a comment,I ended up posting an essay.

I'm guessing you are refering to the American, Matthew Brodrick version? And hey, don't worry about a lengthy post, as long as you get your point out.

Believe it or not, I'd like this to be a serious discussion on the forums for once. At least until Co-Host or Q show up.

I agree with two of your points: The breath weapon and the additional monster. Both are expected features in a Godzilla film, and the "mini-Zillas' was a bit too Jurassic Park for me. Plus the acting job of Brodrick and that reporter made me want to kick nuns.
