Can Spill make a difference in Little Ol' Estonia.
Hey!
Let me start off by saying: Spill For The Win!. Been listening to you for almost a year now and I ain't stopping now. On the contrary, joined the community n' all. But, alas, I do come with a hidden agenda, which I'm about to reveal. As a matter of fact, I got inspired to go forward with this by the 13 year old programmer, who mailed you on the Loading Bar. I'll be looking forward to that game. As for me, I won't be asking for a check or anything, just the unwavering support of the community.
So, here's the deal. My band, Plagueround, recently finished recording a track and the timing happened to be right to enter it in a contest. The prize of that contest is a music video. So here's my request to you.
1. Visit www.facebook.com/bandidpurki (that's Estonian for "bands in the box")
2. "Like" the page to support their effort, but also to open up the options for step 3.
3. Scroll down to find "Plagueround - Molly Keg" and give it a "like" (after listening of course)
Winning this contest will give us the opportunity to work together with film students and professionals, as well as enthusiasts to create something awesome for you guys and others to enjoy and maybe even talk about.

Obvious troll or not, I found it quite original. And the way the guys handled it was quite neat as well. You don't have to look at everything with cynicism. Doesn't hurt to give people a chance every once in a while.
Then again. I can see where you're coming from. I guess you're trying to protect the community somehow by pointing out these things. Me against you then. 4 Days until this whole thing is over.

It might be just me, but I can't take anyone who uses the "1. Steal underpants 2. ???? 3. Profit" template to make a point very seriously. Sure it's funny, kinda, was in South Park anyway, but it's just too overdone. Feel free to disagree of course. Opinions will be opinions.

Fair point. What I don't appreciate is someone making a profile on spill and then within an hour spam the forum in hopes that your band can leech votes from us. I find it rude and arrogant.
