can anyone recommend to me a movie like this?

favorite movie of all time is Spielberg's Catch Me If You Can
i was in 6th or 7th grade and i go with my friend to see a movie, the one we wanted to watch was rated R and they wouldn't sell us tickets for it, so we went to see Catch Me If You Can 
i was curious if there were older obsecure movies that are similar in style to it that anyone knows of?

Stander (2003) starring Thomas Jane. Not necessarily completely similar movie, although from what I remember it does have the same tone to it, but I mention it more because it is a fairly underrated flick.
