Bah, another fighting game only with axe instead of sword and guitar instead of magic. Bit more interesting characters and a LOT better soundtrack. Over all, beat same bad-guys over and over, and beat lvl bosses.

Nothing new here.

You immediately jumped to the "fanboy defense", defending the game based on the merits of other games, which has no positive effect, especially for someone who does not recognize the other games.

It looks good because:
It's original, it's funny, it seems to have a fairly interesting story and characters, it has arguably one of the biggest most awesome soundtracks ever, and the voice actors are supposed to be in the game are exciting prospects. I have heard rumor that there will be inclusion of RTS elements in the game, this may or may not turn out well but is at least interesting.

It does not, and cannot be made to look good by psychonauts or secret of monkey island because it is not those games. To defend a game that has not yet come out based on the merits of other games is a weight on all titles involved, raising expectations for those who know the existing titles and condemning those title to any who haven't played them, play this, and dislike or even hate it.
