Hey it's Melvin! posted a status'Today it was announced that Bob Hoskins the British movie actor who starred in lead roles such as Mona Lisa, The Long Good Friday, Who Killed Roger Rabbit and Mario Brothers (forget that one) has been diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. At the age of 69 he will retire from acting to spend more time with his family.
To me this is really sad news... I liked him in his recent smaller roles in small (and big films) i.e. Enemy At The Gates, Felicias Journey, Twenty Four Seven and Made in Dagenham. Hope you have a good retirement Bob.

This is really terrible news. He was lined up for the Who Famed Roger Rabbit sequel also. Best wishes to him and his family.
