Depends where, at a park or something like that it seems ok but in a more crowded place it seems innapropriate (and distracting lol). Though to be honest I've never really seen a women breast feed in a crowded public place before so I think most women have that under control.

It's just tits and a baby. Let 'em go do what they need to do. The only people who would get worked up over that are the ones who think the body is something to hide and be ashamed of, and the people who've never seen a pair of breasts in their lives and are scared by their very existence.

Well, on the one hand, I wouldn't much care for it if people started to pee and poo in public. Also very natural and necessary behavior for humans but pretty gross.
On the other hand, I wouldn't want to deny a baby its food when hungry. Baby screams can be nauseating.
Personally, I don't understand why female breasts are so threatening, especially when used for feeding a baby. The underlying implication seems to be that female breasts function solely as sexual objects and that's why it is considered indecent for public display. So I suppose that the puritanical ninnies that wants to forbid public breastfeeding are the ones that thinks way too much about sex.

Yes, too many people see breasts only as something sexual and can't get past it. So breast feeding in public freasks out overally uptight people who think the slightest glimps of a boob is going to destroy society and ruin a young childs life.

Speaking of peeing and pooping in public, I was in Darwin Australia a few years ago and walking around the mall. Darwin has a lot of Aboriginys, which are a protected race and can pretty much do whatever they want. While walking around the mall I saw an Aboriginy woman with her child and he started to tug on his moms arm. She stopped and looked at him as he pulled his pants down and pissed right in the middle of the mall and when he was done they continued on their way and nobody did anything about it because they are able to get away with it.

its an interesting question. now a days people just use a blanket to cover the baby and boobage so you cant really see anything. its bonding between mother and baby. there is no reason to hide it, its natural. they do it in Africa and they have no cloths on what so ever. they just let them latch on and get back to making the basket they were making. lol
