Also WHAT THE FUCK, TODD!!! I was actually worried you were going to die a couple minutes ago.
P.S. Funny thing is Hank mentions to Flynn about renting the movie heat, go look onto the IMDb description for heat and tell me that isn't forshadowing.

Edit: Damn it, Lydia didn't plant the device. That makes me want her to die less, which sucks cause I really wanted her to die prior to the episode.
Permalink Reply by LunaticLMD on August 13, 2012 at 1:28am I admit, I'm one of the those people who completely forgot about that boy during the episode; I was so into the heist.
Edit: Now I got to watch Weeds. What a step down.
Permalink Reply by Woosp Vision on August 13, 2012 at 10:01am outstanding viewing once again. just wow.
really like how Jesse has got his shit together as far as input to the operation has gone, this season he has come a long way from his turn in the desert when the RV broke down and he begged Walt to 'use science'.
same as other posters, really wanted Lydia to die but now not so much. fuck.
one second I think we have a couple broken legs at least from jumping off a train then a brief high moment with a custom 'bitch' directed at the train from Jesse then... holy fucking shit. really surprised with how tense I found those last minutes of the episode but those last 4 seconds? fuck me.
between seasons I had heard lots of speculation about what this season would bring from friends and from all over the internet, not a single theory has even been close the path this show has taken. out-fuckin-standing.
a whole week till another fix? fuck me that's depressing...
Permalink Reply by Harry Lime on August 14, 2012 at 2:43pm If I were to rank Breaking Bad's best episodes, I'd go like this:
1. Season 3's "Fly"
2. Season 5's "Dead Freight"
3. Season 4's "End Times"/"Face Off" (I include them as one, because they are nominally the same episode)
4. Season 1's "Pilot" (or "Breaking Bad", as its sometimes called)
5. Season 3's "One Minute"
Holy shit, who would've seen that coming, particularly in the way it did? This episode is all the proof one needs to have in showcasing Breaking Bad as one of, if not the best show on TV right now, and probably ever. Everything works, from the humor, the setup, the character bits, the (SPOILER ALERT) Train Heist and its planning (END SPOILER ALERT), just plain everything. This is one of those few shows that is very hard to predict where its headed if nothing is spoiled for you. And even then it just grips you with anticipation if you know where something is going.
All I'm hoping for is that by the series finale, Walter doesn't get dethroned in the same cliched way every gangster or kingpin from Tony Montana to Tom Powers to Frank Costello to Michael Corleone does: a blind ego. I like the idea of him being an adrenaline junkie as opposed to a showoff crushing himself and those he loves with an overinflated ego.
Permalink Reply by Randy Flagg on August 14, 2012 at 6:10pm I hate to ask, but is the boy dying going to draw attention to the heist? Was that the consequence other than Jesse?
