Bradley Cooper's "CROW" concept arts
Remember all those news about new "Crow" movie ? Like the fact that Bradley Cooper was suposed to be casted as the main hero of the movie...well, not sure if it was brought up here, but lately some concept arts leaked from it showing how could our new Undead hero look like 
I dont know, when ive first heard about the casting choice i wasnt really happy about it, but when i look at these, it kinda looks cool, and could actually work, what do you guys think ?

Ok...Bad, but why ? We all know the nature of the character and his original look. The above drawings are good extends of the original design without making it too different. So why exactly is it bad ?

The Goth concept design on the original crow worked, mainly due to the popularity of the style in it's time. At that point in the 90's, it was a bit of a new fad that was booming into mainstream( the goth fashion has been around before then, but not as popular at that point).
When you see goth kids now, it's not as strange as it used to be: in fact, it seems more gimmicky. That being said, this updated look looks like a mix of bad Goth and J-POP design, that doesn't fit it's model(Cooper). It just doesn't work for Cooper, nor the Crow, any longer. If they want this movie to be successful, get rid of that bullshit, and go back to the drawing board.
On another note, I'm still interested in seeing how Cooper does in Paradise Lost as Lucifer Morningstar, himself.

Sure, Goth culture was more popular back then, and that's why they decided to make the movie, but even though im not a goth, i can still enjoy the fuck out of it in 2011, and Im guessing Im not the only one...its a great revenge story, and these are never getting old. And as for the concepts, I actually think movie makers agreed with you on the goth thing, that's why instead of just white clown makeup with black lipstick they went with more zombie'ish pale skin and black tear smeared makeup that when you think about it, actually makes sense cuz if my memory serves me corectly...Crow's protagonist was a rock/metal artist, so the eyeliner aint really that uncommon for them. Same thing with the clothes he's wearing, they look like something he would wear during a concert...so again, makes perfect sense.
As for the casting choice, as much as i was against Cooper being in a Crow movie, im starting to understand WHY they would choose him, cuz even that "Crow" was a tragic character, when he came back there wasn't much of a moping/crying/whining, he had that weird Dark Knight Joker vibe to him...crazy, creepy smile that meant someone is going to die horribly, and Bradley Cooper is good enough actor to pull it off convincingly, so yeah...i would like to see this movie.

i like the face concepts......
i have a feeling this will be like dmc or bane in TDKR in which ppl love the original so much they cant see such a drastic change in the look of the new character. its stronger with devil may cry but its still gonna get that hate from die hards.

Sure, many people do...because NOW they know they cant go wrong with Nolan, but remember how much people hated first Joker photo that hit the web ? Exactly. Im getting really similiar vibe here, people want to hate it so they hating it even when this look actually makes more sense than the one from the first movie "Oh my god...my girlfriend is dead, i need to paint my face !"
