itll take a few years for people to start being able to afford it, but im sure once they do itll soar in sales. I mean when you watch a film on Blue-ray it looks fucking lovely, Im saving up for one as we speak.
no it wont for the simple reason that its a new technology instead of having the 4 gig from a dvd you now have i think its 40-80 on blue ray so it is here to stay it will take maybe 2-5 years for it to be the norm but i mean you can already find players for like 200 bucks down from the 1200 they were when they came out so blue ray is here to stay they one the short battle agaisnt hd dvd and its now here to stay unless we get something even better in the next 3 years

the economic crisis won't help it.
here's my prediction
1. movies will get cheaper and the format will catch on
2. prices will stay high and nobody will buy'em
VHS to DVD is an obvious leap forward, which is why DVDs took off like they did. DVD to Blue Ray isnt that fantastic a leap in technology, at least at first glance. Sure, the quality is better, but a lot of people wont give a crap about the quality. However, there are people like us who do see the difference between DVD and Blu Ray and want that upgrade.
Yeah. And the way that it's stickin' around is sayin' somethin' also. I mean enough people are buyin' into it and HD tvs are takin' off so I think it'll work in the long run as opposed to HD DVDs. That shit has went the way of the dinosaur. Ask Toshiba
Man, relax. If you posted it,fuck it. Stop worryin' 'bout what they said.. AND if it'll make you feel better, he wasn't even talkin' about you he was makin' a reference to what Iron Man posted... Now hug one of the cuddily puppies and relax. Wasn't that damn serious.

Here's the thing about Blu-Ray.
The family I moved in with have a 72in Hi-Def TV, pumping both the Hi-Fi Computer networked into the Xbox 360 downloading/watching Blu-Ray movies from Netflix and running the PS3 for Blu-Ray 'better picture'...
HOWEVER!
My old 42in Hi-Def tv with Xbox 360 playing BASIC DVDs has just the same quality. I can't see a difference. Only thing that I noticed was how FAKE looking the first Chornicles of Narnia looked last night. Every CGI effect looked like it was just rendored for a GAME and not a movie.

Several days ago my mother described to me a cake she called “Ambassador” she ate way back in '70s. Her description was quite good and so I attempted to recreate the cake, while adding a Christmas flair to it, since it IS Christmas. It turned out fa…
This is a simple VLOG I recorded after seeing the new James Cameron film. Here's my thoughts:
And furthermore: The more I think about this movie, the more I hate it. They couldn't settle for beating us over the head with environmental propaganda,…
