Blackest Night rings and other schwag
Has anyone else been buying up the Green Lantern rings?
I know they are cheesy as hell: you have to buy a third rate comic to get them. But I'm freaking excited.
If there is anything in the comic book universe that can be merchandised and slung for profit; What would it be and how would you distribute it?

I would love it if there were comic shops here in Costa Rica, almost all of my books are from Amazon, and they arrive in a month and a half or so...

I've got the black, yellow, orange, and indigo. I put some silver paint on the black ring and used a permanent marker on the yellow to try and make em look a little cooler. Kinda worked except the paint is chipping off.
I haven't gone out of my way to get any of them though as I was already getting Rebels, Booster Gold, and Doom Patrol. I love the red rings design but I don't think I'll get Robinsons Justice League tie-in.
Oh and Rebels was great as usual. Best tie in.

Yeah I've got all the colors up to date. I'm not mad at the purchase of the tie-ins, but I do think it is a good way to promote a book. I've had my eye on Rebels for a while and I've been keeping up on Doom Patrol. It is a gimmic to boost sales for a quarter.

Perhaps I'm reading far to much into this, but I noticed when looking over Green Lantern Secret Origins that Hector Hammond's psychic images and constructs were all orange... I think it would be really cool if that was foreshadowing.

Matt, Jack & Jon are three eloquent young gents. They philosophize, externalize, and harmonize on the most pressing subjects of the modern age. Actually, they mostly just talk about movies and current events, but the presentation is what counts.
