I guess this is just a "name your favorite game" sort of thread, because I'm just going to end up naming the same games I always plug. The difference being, I'm fully aware most will not enjoy them as much as I did.

Empire: Total War
The Total War series does war better than any other game out there. No other game takes realistic tactics to such a extreme level, and Empire really was a step beyond their last title, Medieval 2.

Fallout 3
By far, the best all around RPG I have ever played. Bethesda has as much love for this series as I do, and it shows.

Jade Empire
Don't think I don't love every thing that Bio Wear makes (even if they are Edmontonians), but I honestly thought this one was superior to Mass Effect, for story, fun game play, and a game mechanics system that is so simple, but works complex wonders on the game play.

Supreme Commander
I loved this game back when it was called Total Annihilation, and the remake just gets better. For RTS, this is where it is at. The fact my favorite voice actress (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn) is playing a main character is just icing on the cake.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
I'm sure you all picture me as a brooding Emo goth, so I guess it's not surprising this is on my list. Seriously, this game is a total pain in the ass to get to run, but is SO worth the effort. If you like good characters, this is the one. (Also, more icing from Mary)

Call of Duty
I don't care, pick a recent one. While not the cutting edge of skill required like CS, or the immersive realism of Rainbow 6, this walks the fine line, that makes it fun for some excellent fraggin.

Half-life 2
If you love FPS, you may very well never need another FPS (till the next Half-life) There are so many free mods out there for this, than you can be assured to find at least something you like

streets of rage 1 2 n 3, ninja gaiden 1 and 2 for xbox and sigma expansion packs, doom 3, x men origins, dmc series, street fighter and mortal kombat series, gungrave 2, hl 2 and episodes, and also fear 1 and 2 and my list owns all of yours
