If it's crap... We'll tell you

With the economy down, free games are always a good thing. But what MMO's are your favorite?

A few that I like are...

Anarchy Online: one of the better sci-fi MMO's out there, lots of interesting classes, best skill customization I've seen in a free MMO, a developed world and lots to do.

Dungeon Runners: At first, seems like a cheap imitation of WOW, but then you notice the little things like the jokey dialog and the amount of skill customization with the character.

Dream of Mirror Online or DOMO: I love the cell-shaded graphics. There's a bunch of jobs you can choose from and although I've just started playing it, the game seems like it has a lot you can do.

Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine : I'm actually in the process of downloading this and if anyone has played it, go ahead and elaborate. It looks cool, kinda modern with mixes of Pokemon and JRPG elements along with a lot of social fun-ness, but I guess I'll find out soon :D

I've played others, just those few I mentioned are the ones I've found unique and high in quality.

I'm not really a big MMORPG player... Though, (since I'm a fan of the Shin Megami Tensei games) a couple months ago, I downloaded and played Imagine. Surprisingly, I actually had some fun. Demon contracting and summoning are all there, as well as some familiar demons from the series. Definitely give Imagine a try, you might like it. :)

I've been playing it for a few days and have to admit, it's pretty fun. It feels more like a normal video game with goals as opposed to a free MMO, plus the demon summoning is pretty kick-ass.

Mabinogi-Mabinogi.nexon.net

Runescape (This game has no sense of cash shop or any of the like, and makes its money back on Membership, which clearly isn't a necessary option for the average player. It's free, has a huge community, and when I played it, it managed to absorb at least a bit of my interest)-Runescape.com

If you have an Xbox 360, go download the demo for Phantasy Star Online. It's completely F2P, but your characters get reset every month. I played like CRAZY awhile back, and the month-long characters keeps the grinders to a minimum, so you never feel like too much of a newb.

Please note these aren't necessarily my favorite, though they're all good enough to check out. So...go check them out.

Still in beta, but very good.

did this replace Pokemon Crater, or is it something completely different?

I think its something different. There was also this one which is older: http://www.pokeglobal.org/

I don't really like it though.
