Basically, the new batman game is getting rave reviews, and some are calling the best super hero game ever. Now I can't play it and probably won't for a while(darn you expensive next gen systems!!!!!!!!)
but my question is,have you played this game, and if so is it really that good?
I dont think it will win game of the year since their still a couple of huge games to come out. But the game deserves all the praise it is amazing and after playing it a bit more i can safely say it is the best comic book game ever. Everyone should play this game and it truly is the first game that depicts batman as badass but also as a badass that can think.
Also not trying to be a dick but its Arkham Asylum.
Better. Much better character and story development. Fun gameplay and a non-intrusive CSI-detective working aspect. I'm not even a fan of Batman and I loved this game.
I think its better than Spider-Man 2. While it was very fun I always felt like some detachment. The story was ok and the web slinging felt awesome, but I didnt really feel like Spider-Man in all aspects. You didnt use Peter Parker's science background or stuff like that, some of the things that make the character so popular in the comics/movies is missing a bit in the game.
Arkham Asylum is so immersive in every aspect. I felt like batman when i was beating ass and looking around for clues and silently taking out goons. Even when I died i made the comment to my friend that I should have used batman's approach not supermans. Its very fun , but I dont think GOTY unless MW 2 , AC2 and some others bomb which is highly unlikely
