This discussion is about what you consider to be the worst sequels of all time. It doesn't matter if its the second movie ti can be any in a series. For me these are the worst sequels ever made:

-Terminator Salvation
-X-Men: The Last Stand
-Superman IV - The Quest For Peace
-Superman Returns
-Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End

alien 3,4 and avp 1,2 killed the saga.

Alien 3 is certainly not a great movie but its very underrated. Its well acted, strangely beautiful and the tone of the film is extremely depressing. If that is what David Fincher was going for, he nailed it!
AVP 1 AND 2 are abominations of cinema though.

I have more problems with Alien 4, than Alien 3. Alien 3 at least was trying to be artistic, where Resurrection was nothing but Hollywood Schlock.

I liked Predator 2. not that it was a great film by any films, but it was all right.
