Avatar: Legend Of Korra
Did you guys hear? Nickolodean is going to make a new series of the Avatar the Legend of Korra? This forum is all you Avatar fans who want to discuss about it on Spill.com.
I would also like to add this. Avatar: Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after Avatar: The Last Airbender. Korra is the next Avatar after Aang, "a passionate, rebellious, and fearless teenaged girl" who is hotheaded, independent and "ready to take on the world". Korra comes from the Southern Water Tribe, and Aang and Katara's son Tenzin is her Airbending teacher.
One of the story's settings is Republic City, a "metropolis powered by steampunk-type technology," "inhabited by people from all nations." Here Korra must deal with rampant crime and an anti-bender revolt.

I like it. Sounds pretty cool. As long as they keep in the vein of the original series, I'd be excited to see more. In fact, I think it'd be cool to have a prequel series where each episode (or season, or episode arc) focuses on a previous Avatar (i.e. Roku, Kuruk, Kyoshi).

I am REALLY pumped for it! The moment I found out it was going to be in a steam punk city I really geeked out. Before the 3rd season I always envisioned the fire nation capital to be an epic steam punk Ba Sing Se. I wasn't disappointed by what we got but I have REALLY high hopes for Republic City! Plus the show might take on a more mature tone! I cant wait!
