I'm thinking that any number of bets were lost to create this film. BY the by, this is only the latest in a long line of rather ridiculous films to be made: Where's Waldo, Battleship, Candy Land, and Stretch Armstrong will all be getting films in the near future.Be afraid, and stock up on liquor.

It could be decent. The problem with most video game movies is that they are stuck with an established plot which often times doesn't lend itself to linear story-telling. Asteroids doesn't have that problem.
