Are these forums in need of some mods / admins?
I just wanted to see what other members of the site felt about having some sort of authority / management on these boards. Lately it seems that the boards have been flooded with basically the same threads just worded differently (not even talking about the Viagra ads).
If a new picture is released for a movie I dont understand how that requires its own thread. Wouldn't it be better to have say all Dark Knight Rises material in one thread? Or how many ways can someone ask whats your favorite movie? How about "Whats your favorite movie to watch on Wednesdays when its raining in October?"
I hope I'm not coming off like some ass that not my intent I'm just proposing an idea that would generally improve the boards here on Spill. Its not as if having some mods is some far flung idea practically every forum has them.

People who make shitty threads are punished by the community by mockery, or complete apathy, to me that is way more enjoyable, and just. Not to mention it's a lot cheaper for the creators of Spill.

yeah that's half the problem. Retards make shitty threads and other retards bump it for days saying that it's a shit thread.
Not to mention all the decent threads that go completely off the rails because some moron posted a gif, which for some reason on this community means that the next 20 post will be people spamming gifs.

yeah, that's a good observation when one person goes off-topic with a gif it somewhat becomes a "who can act like their too cool for this thread most" competition, or its just mob mentality.

I've noticed that it's like a sad attempt at 4 chan. But I honestly think flaming a thread over an over is worse then said threads actual existence. And if "punished by the community by mockery" actually worked then the forums wouldn't be cluttered with nonsense obviously people aren't catching on. So in in reality is the opposite.
