If it's crap... We'll tell you

Another Transformers ROTF Review. ( Like we really need another one of those, right? )

Hello, this is my review of Transformers ROTF.

One of the biggest problems of the movie for me was the annoying, juvenile humor and lack of character development. Another thing is they completely forget every character from the original except Sam, Bumblebee, Optimus, Mikaela and the Sector 7 guy. Ironhide, Ratchet, Blackout, Barricade and Scorponok are barely in the movie at all. Instead we have these new characters Mudflap and Skids ( commonly refereed to as "The Twins" ). They are the common black stereo-type guys who crack jokes and act like fools ( like Jazz from the original movie, but more ridiculous. ) While I found many of their jokes crude and unneeded, some of them I got a light chuckle from. But the characters did not even need to be in the movie, which comes to the second character who didn't need to be in the movie. Sam's roommate, he contributes NOTHING to the plot and only adds comic-relief. Like the twins, I got a chuckle out of one or two of their "jokes" but ultimately the character was unneeded. If you're going to see it, expect the crude humor to carry on, we get dogs humping, a robot humping Megan Fox's leg, John Tutoros ass, and Devestator testicles. Michael Bay has out done himself with this.. The movie had NO plot AT ALL, some pretty cheesy dialog. The acting wasn't really bad, per say. But it wasn't all that great.. One thing I thought would of been better for the movie. If it was from the Robot's point of view, not the human's. It is called "Transformers" after all, while their needs to be some Human interaction to make it realistic.

Those things being said.. I liked it. It wasn't a good movie, I'll tell you that right now. But it was like a roller-coaster. You get on, it has it's moment, you have fun and then get off. It's the kind of movie you go to and turn your brain off, eat some popcorn and watch robots beat the living sh*t out of each other, some of the action scenes, had that shaky camera. Commonly refereed to as "BayVision" and were hard to follow, but some were really amazing and mind blowing, like the forest scene.

If you're looking for a good movie, with a decent plot, good dialog and overall very good movie. This is NOT the movie for you. So if you're that kind of person, this movie is a "Some Ol' Bullshit" or even a "F--k you!"

If you're the kind of guy who wants to go to the movie, get some popcorn. Turn your brain off and watch two and a half hours of crude jokes, bad plot, Megan Fox and robots beat the sh*t out of each other. This movie would be a "Matinee"

Some of the things I liked about it were

A: Some of the action.
B: The relationship between Megatron and Starscream.
C: The effects, were mind blowing.

Plot:1/5 stars. Hard to follow and not very original.
Acting: 3/5 stars Not very great, but not that bad.
Action:4/5 stars Good, but the shaky camera bullsh*t made it hard to follow.
Special Effects:5/5 effects were mindblowing.
Dialog: 2/5 a lot of it was very cheesy and just terrible to hear.
Character Development: 2/5 it suffers from what many like to call, the "Wolverine Syndrome" they added too many robots without developing them.
Characters: 3/5 Let me say this for one, I am black and did not the find "The Twins" all that offensive. While many characters they put in weren't developed properly, the main ones were very likable.

For me, I love the visuals and the great acting by Jackie Earl Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Patrick Wilson. There are other reasons, but these are the ones that stick out the most for me.
