An atheist summer camp

Is it just the "atheist" moniker you have a problem with? I wonder if that's what the camp representatives consider themselves to be or if it's just what they were branded as in the news story. If so, I think it could be called something else and still get the main idea across.

this is good and bad, it still is has an agenda just a less hateful one (by this i mean you will burn in hell, gay people are wrong, no abortion etc)

Yeah, children are always exploited for propaganda. Camps that involve religion usually see the kids like little sponges. Someone's beliefs shouldn't forcefully influence individuals around them.

That being said, I really don't see the point of this camp. Just teach your kids to think critically, and atheism will follow naturally.

I don't know, maybe it's just because I hate summer camps altogether. I really hated going to summer camps...

One summer, as a kid, I was sent to a Jesus Camp .
I even earned a badge for learning how to whistle thru my stigmatas.
