If it's crap ... We'll tell you

Lunatik posted a photoToday I wanted Legend Of Korra's Villain Amon the mysterious leader of The Equalists. While lots of theory's have been kicked around I wanted to ask my fellow Spillios who or maybe what do you think Amon is? Because I have a few Ideas of my own.
1) Man: At first it seemed like the show was setting up Councilman Tarrlok as either being Amon or being in league with him. This Of course this just proved to be a red herring. If Amon is a man he is someone we haven't met yet.
2) Monster: Amon can spirit bend a rare form of bending that lets him remove peoples powers for good. Before this we have only seen Avatar Aang able to do this. Aang gained those abilities by talking to a giant magic turtle (Its makes sense in the show). So did Amon do the same or is he something more sinister. Remember Koh the Face Stealer what ever happened to that guy maybe he stole Amon's face?
3) Machine: Legend of Korra makes great use of Steam punk aesthetics. A great deal of work is put into the shows tech & especially Robots. The series has made Star Wars nods before so would it be strange for Amon to be a Darth Vader mix of Man & Machine. Especially since he was able to resist blood bending.
4) Many: Maybe Amon is a name not a person & maybe there is more then one person under the mask.

Permalink Reply by Mo-Mo on June 17, 2012 at 5:49pm It would be an interesting twist if Amon was more than one person if it was written well but maybe Amon couldn't bend but somehow got to the spirit world.

Another interesting Theory is that Amon is actually one of Aang's children. Bumi who was the only child out of the 3 siblings who didn't have an inherent bending ability, perhaps he is quite spiritual being one of Aang's Children.
Permalink Reply by Josteo on June 23, 2012 at 4:23pm Saw the last show of the season where his true identity was exposed. To see for your self go here. I found the whole thing to be good and not over done. I just want to see where they go from here. What else can happen? Did you guys like this last episode?
