Am I the only one who hates getting like 10 bucks for a 60 dollar game at Gamestop!?

Yes I enjoy getting store credit but what about when i need the money? I tried going online and calling friends up to buy a game ASAP, but I end up haveing my only way of money is through Gamestop. Gamestop used to be a great place but i feel it is "corrupted" or something.

Agree or disagree?

Oh, agree! I know they have to make a business out of selling for more than they give you, but the last time I tried to trade two PS3 games, they offered $12. I thought this was $100-120 originally and I kept them. Again, I understand they buy used lower and sell higher depending on demand, but $12 seemed kind of insulting. If it was simply $25-30, I probably would have taken it.
I work for GameStop and the value of the game is determined by its status... New games cost about $62.09 that is the company Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, make the prices. But if someone trades said game in they will get 25 to 35 dollars store credit worth. That is why when purchasing games always buy use because you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. Also people like to trade in scratch/damaged discs which are worth less.
What if you need money? Stop spending moolah on video games and save your pennies instead. An emergency nest egg is alway a good idea. ;-)
Hate to be the one that breaks this to you....

Wait until you have to return a college book that you purchased for 75 bucks, but only able to get 5 dollars back when you try to sell it back. Thankfully, you can usually find an underclassman that needs the book for next year and sell it to him for about 25 or so.... if you are lucky.
Oh don't get me STARTED on that shit!

I'm taking a class about comic book literature next semester mostly so I'll either have the book already or won't mind keeping it after I'm done with it.
Amazon.com is your best friend, man.
Upperclassmen were mine. lol
To-may-to, To-mah-to
To be fair, Jon does attend the same university as Amazon.com
Oh crap. I wish I knew about this sooner. I spend like 130$ for a math book and only got 3$ back.
And the worst part is that college bookstores always loves to pay in $2 bills and Sacagewea coins, which only get you dirty looks when you try to spend them. Grrrrr.
It's simple, don't go through GameStop
