So the multiplayer demo of aliens vs predator has been out for a few days now and its been the only thing I have been playing on my 360 so I wana know what you think of the demo and the game so far.

Personly I have been enjoying every secound of the demo ok there are a few problems the main being that the lobby system is messed up,well on the 360 verson but other than that the game has not disapointed me.

So what are your opinions of the demo? Which race do you play the most and why?

Besides the lobby, the largest problem for me are the controls. They feel so godamn clunky. It took my many matches and even more deaths before I got the hang of the control scheme. Oh, and to my surprise, I found myself playing more of the Alien race than I did the Predator. I thought the Predator class was gonna be fun, (dont get me wrong, it is), but I just found that the Alien class is just so much more exciting to play. For one, there aren't any cheap ass weapons laying around for it to use like the Predator class has. That alone just makes it more fun to play the Alien, in my opinion.
The de-cloaking was probably more of a balancing decision.
Except for the lobby, multi player is decent. I'm disappointed at the limited control schemes available, making it difficult to play this game in beginning. The concept of the three playing is a good one but I think the single player will shine.
That's what I'm lookin' forward to the most. The single player, that is...

...and by single player, I mean the Predator story arc where I get to live my dreams of hunting people with blade gaunlets.
I used to play AVP2 alot back in the day.
Which was nice to hear that they were coming out with a sequel/reboot. So, I did get around to playing the demo and doing some deathmatch.

Turns out.
It's HORRIBLY balanced.

Wanna know why?
Kills/Deaths: 28/0

Wanna know how I did that?
I played the Alien, and spammed heavy attack from a distance, took down almost everyone in my path.
This was another problem I ran across. When I played the Predator, got the nooberang, and boom! Kill/Death ratio was 25/0. To make matters worse, the last couple of matches I played came out no different. Though, I was playing the Alien but once those kids[XBOX Live] got a hold of that, that was it. They just spammed that shiz.
I massively disagree with that, I found it completely balanced, I have had a minimum of 20/0 with each species and several times. Its mainly because its a weird system to get us to that you get such high kills.

Alien, heavy attacking from a distance? That's not that good, the people you were fighting (understandably because its a demo) obviously didn't know what they were doing.

The predator with the boomerang? You were obviously playing against people who hadn't figured out how to avoid the damn thing.

Its the same old multi player fault, some one keeps repeating the same act and other people keep repeating the same attack that got them killed the first time.
I'm not a huge fan of the Alien Vs Predator franchise, even though it's developed a loving following, but I enjoyed the demo. The three species seemed very balanced, however, it did take me a while to adjusted to the Predator's controls. Hopefully, they'll fix whatever problems with balancing and the lobby setup as soon as possible or in patches in the future.
