This 'what if' scenario comes from a rumor that's been gaining speed online. Word is that Marvel's Editor and Chief Joe Quesada is on shaking ground with Disney because of his famous decision to end the Marriage of Spider man and Mary Jane. It's gotten to the point that Joe Q has to write his own story "One Moment in Time" to try and fill the gaps made by OMD in an attempt to gain back readers to Spider-man.
So The Question: If Joe Quesada is fired, would you support Brian Bendis as his replacement?
The choice of Bendis is also part of the rumor, he's Disney's golden boy because of his books financial success. He's also a big opponent of Brand New Day, not only as a fan of the marriage but because he takes offense to it as a copy of all he's done in Ultimate Spider man
If not Bendis, your top choice for the next Marvel EiC
Quesada has stated that the one he would picture taking over for him most is Jeph Loeb. I don't know if his work sells as good as Bendis anymore but I know it sells well. Anyways I see that only ten times more likely than Bendis getting the job.
