If it's crap ... We'll tell you

Lunatik posted a photoNO more live reviews. Just a nice and simple one. Let's start by saying I was getting emotional at the end of the film and very aware of Robert Ebert reviews. Now I said a while ago that this is my 2nd favorite film of all time. It is about a little boy named David who is actually a robot but programmed with feelings and thoughts. Now many will say he is a robot and, why should I care. Now stop thinking of this film as realistic. You have a robot with feelings already you can't say be realistic. And the film is not smart at all but the things that it is preaching are. Haley Joel Osment is a excellent actor and for me pulled it off. I really only got attached to his character. Jude Law is in this and he feels wasted for the fact that he does nothing through this movie! But he is a good actor and at least made me believe that he was a robot. He is abandoned by his mother who imprints on him after knowing that her human son might not make it through this coma he is going through. And his is abandoned because she doesn't want to kill him. Any who we get to the story, which on paper looks great to me. Dialogue is great. Directing is the best in this movie.Visual effects hold up. Where it counts is great. Oh and there is another WTF ending. And it includes robots. Don't believe me! Watch the ending explained video done by Spielberg himself. I give this a Better then Sex knowing the flaws but easily forgiving it. Next will be Fight Club unless someone suggest something. Thank you and write what you thought about the film below.
