That sucks, though I thought the previews were mildly funny. Still, use some sense people.

Everybody loves a trainwreck!

Yeah but a trainwreck is final. If they give these people money they'll make "Meet the Spartans 2: the trainwreck continues!"

This is no surprise though. the last one opened number one. these movies are for this generation of movie goers that 14-21 yr old group. The same people probobaly wouldnt like hot shots, or naked gun. I could be wrong though.

Age wise I wouldn't even go that high. 14-17

I would still go lower. 13-15

I'm 18 and I love Hot Shots and Naked Gun. But you're right, most 14-17 year olds probably wouldn't like those films as much.

Eh, I remember last year in 7th grade, people were still hating on Epic Movie.

I'm not overly shocked by Meet the Spartans being No. 1 (that opening is pretty similar to the openings for Epic Movie and Date Movie if I remember correctly), but what shocked me was how hard Cloverfield dropped in comparison to last week... I knew it was going to be a front-heavy premier, but isn't that close to a 2/3 drop in comparison to opening week?
