I can just see the scene on the alien mothership. "Alright troops, we're sooo confident we're going to win, we won't issue you any ranged weapons. In fact, you don't even need armor! You guys are going down naked! I know the most of the planet is covered with a substance that is acidic to us, but what could happen? It's not like it's going to fall from the sky!"
For all their advanced technology, don't tell me they never invented clothes!!
I once thought the ending to Kill Bill vol. 2 was bad, but that was only because they took it a COMPLETELY different way than I thought they would. (I expected a huge epic fight between the Bride and Bill)
I didnt like the ending to Pan's Labyrinth, it kind of felt slapped together in my opinion. Still one of my favorite movies ever though.
OK the long awaited list...when will it come who knows but here is mine.
Matrix Revolutions - All that build up and then insta peace, oh if only wars REALLY ended that way.
Kung Fu Hustle - I spent all movie enjoying a catroony kick ass martial arts extravaganza and then some artsy fartys shit that was way more fartsy than artsy
War of the Worlds Tom Cruise Edition - Xenu never showed up to kill Tom, and everybody is safe and happy, not to mention DURING the movie when everyone survives the longest timed grenade that blasts mere inches away from people who drop a million feet to land...unscathed.
The Village and War of the Worlds... then again, War of the Worlds really was just an all around disappointment. The ending to the Illusionist bothered me because I couldn't buy the distinctions (or lack there of) it was making between real magic (summoning spirits, etc) and illusion.
yeah, i am legend could have had a way better ending. like blowing that head infected dude away. and coming up with the cure and making it to vermont and then have some disaster happen.
