What TV Shows Have You Been Watching Because of a Lack of Good Movies?

I thought Tin Man was an interesting concept ruined by the cast, bad effects and an odd plot.

"Help, i've been possesed by a witch and there's monkeys in my boobs!"

Zooey Deschanel looked as if she'd been hit with a 2x4 in the back of the head before every take.

....so i only watched all 6 hours of it.

Ok hold on a second... there's a monkey on my boobs? Kinky... I mean Interesting. No I only watched I think the first and second episodes so I probablymissed alot... I've been trying to find it online but all the places I've gone have not been the best. I guess I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD... or rather when I find out it's on DVD... As far as the acting goes, I really feel it had acting on par with 70% of all TV shows that last 30% being daytime soaps... I think they do horrible acting as part of the genre... maybe it's just me though.

I just think it got to a point where they were like "Plot be damned, I wanna see tit monkeys." And not all acting was horrid. Alan Cumming was pretty good at acting like he didn't have a brain. I mean if sci-fi made for tv movies are your thing than this is prob your Holy Grail. I'm just saying this series looked a lot better on paper and I could probably not be forced to watch it again (still angry i saw it the first time).

Come on.... they are tit monkeys... they aught to make the movie. They should have tit monkeys in more movies lol... ok maybe I need to tone down the silliness but I think it's highlarious.

Ok It's safe to assume that you are not a fan of this movie and that's fine. I'm not going to say that I don't like made for tv movies because some of them I just adore. 10th Kingdom being one of those. I wouldn't however go as far to say that this is my Holy Grail. lol... I would say that where as it's not your cup of tea I don't think it's as bad as you remember. for you still not good but I think that alot of other people will like it. I'm just saying.

P.S.
If you ever saw the sequal to the Wizard of Oz. That's some ol' Bullshit. This is MUCH better than that. God I hated that movie.

i mean come on....talking chickens and couches that fly, what more could you ask for, except tit monkeys of course.

but getting off the sci-fi topic, i saw some arrested development talk and i just wanted to say hell yes.

Return to Oz is some kinduv of cult classic from what I understand cult classic. I am not sure why though. HA!

I watched the pilot for "Reaper" the other night and I thought it was hilarious and im definetly gonna watch the next one, the ad for it made it look shit though but im glad I didnt pass it up.

Right now there really aren't much series on TV, so I'm sticking to the comedy network and reruns of Friends and House.
I also watch a lot of TV in French

And a lot of the shows you guys are talking about I've never heard of.
