It's RUMORED that QT is doing a remake of Less Than Zero. How cool would that be. Although this is a great movie all on it's own and really doesn't need to be remade ... I wonder what he would do different?
I'm sure he'd put in a lot of asinine dialog and shots of women's feet, and make the movie so long they decide to cut it in to two movies. The entire film will stink of pretension, smugness, and a complete lack of creativity.
He would then make the talk show rounds and let everyone know how awesome he thinks he is. Profits from the movie would be used to help finance the next Eli Roth shitfest.

This isn't a bookstore, Alan...Based on watching the FILM...it was damned good...for its time. Robert Downey Junior shined as Julien waaaay back then. Maybe you should check it out, or read the book...sounds like you did neither

Ellis claimed that there was no connection between the book and the movie, except for the title and the names of the characters.
the movie is going to be a adaptation of the book not a remake, because the movie doesn't seem like it all from what i read on the internet. read the book ?ok,maybe when i'll find it.not every country is like America,i can't just march into a Barnes and nobles here.and zero amazon acconut.so please tell some means of buying it and i'll happyly agree with you
There are no libraries where you live?
Well, if it is not a remake...then I am very happy about that. Remakes for the most part suck...plain and simple. A fresh idea, however, I am all for....
There really wasn't a point to the story in the novel, just a rehash of the things the protagonist, Clay, experienced while he was off from college during Christmas break.
The first film adaptation put a lot of emphasis on an anti-drug message, with Clay fighting to save his friend from a heroin addiction and prostitution. In the book, he's more of an anti-hero (if he can be considered a hero at all) who also uses drugs and has a lot of moral ambiguity in his character. The movie also included a love story, and there really wasn't one in the novel.

sounds like u haven't read the book either. i have. that movie shouldn't have even been called less than zero cuz it was nothing like the book, left out the best parts, and missed the point of the book completely.
Not that this will come as a surprise to anybody who reads my stuff or listens to me on the podcasts, but I am so ready for the final season of “Lost”. You can argue all you want, it means nothing to me because I know the truth of things: “Lost” i…
