Well the Writers Strike, combined with the Actors support have canceled The Golden Globes and possibly if this keeps up than the Academy Awards will also be cancelled!

So what's the bad news? I seem to like the drama this writer's strike is causing, plus I never watch the Golden Globes anyway so this year there might be something worth watching that night.

The only thing that really sucks about this writer's strike, to me at least, is the repetitive reality shows. But you're right, the studios will give in in due time and soon everything will be back to normal.

What I really enjoy about this whole situation is that the Golden Globes weren't canceled because of the Writers Guild's lack of participation, but because the Screen Actors Guild planned on boycotting it.
Once again, the writer's strike accomplishes nothing.
