Max Payne=I'm Suprised.
It wasn't as bad as I thought, It was actually Great.
Yesterday I saw it, I saw Max Payne.
I was pissed that this movie wasn't going to be rated R, and that Fox was going to F*ck it up. I listened to the Max Payne audio review, hearing from Korey and Co-host that this was some ol' bullshit and Cohost gave it a Fuck You, I went to go see it anyway but only because I could get in for free, puppets got connections haha ha. And this is what I have to say, I believe Korey and Co-host 3000 were too rough on the movie.
Now, If only I could go back ONE WEEK into the past, I would tell everyone to Play and Beat the game "Max Payne" before going to see the movie "Max Payne."
I was really suprised, I actually came out of this movie, Satisfied. There were a few things that I didn't like, but they were minor. This movie was 80% the same as the game, and that's the closest any video game to movie adaptation has ever gotten to being accurate.
I've beaten the game many times, so I have the game's story memorized. All the names were the same, gotta give that a plus. Everyone looked mainly like the characters in the game, except Jim Bravura played by Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, but he did have the signiture overcoat and hat at one part.
So I believe that if you play the game and then after watch the movie, you'll appreciate it more, I know I sure did.
For non-fans I could see it being kinda confusing and just another revenge action flick, I would tell you "Play the Game or maybe there is a walkthrough on youtube you can watch when your bored."
I would have to give this a High "MATINEE."

I don't know about that. It looked good but Max Payne was a pussy until he took the drug. Where there should have been a badass fight between Lupino and Payne, there was nothing. The chick was tougher than Payne but he was tough enough to beat up an accountant.
I might watch it on cable but more likely I would keep surfing.

I watched it too,gameover and I agree with pretty much everything you said. Korey and Co-host really were waaay to hard on this movie. I loved it. To me, it didn't feel so much like a blow shit up shoot everything movie, it felt like an honest to god Noir,detective story. Something I haven't seen in awhile. Besides, what newness can you present to the action genre when we've seen pretty much all the craziest shit possible?

I agree with gameover and bagface. While I've never played the game (I know, lame. Right?), I really wanted to see this because the trailer intrigued me.

I played the game and it was amazing, so coming into this movie I had a bit of an emotional investment.
this movie was fucking boring...it took the story from the game and made it lame, which I didnt know was possible.
The characters were just bad, all of them. its really sad.

The only thing that kept me watching this movie was Mila Kunis (if that's how you spell her name), because she just had the look like "Why the fuck is this movie even being made?".
Honestly, watch this movie again, and Mila was probably the only person knowing everything that was going on was stupid.
I can watch this movie because I know it's bad, and I just love laughing at bad parts in films.
So I'd give it a matinee if you just want something to make fun of lol
If not, it's just some ol' bullshit ^-^
