Dude, what about 'Replacements' with Keanu Reeves? Or "Any Given Sunday' with Jamie Fox?

The replacements is something that did happen but they didn't keep it true. Don't get me started with Any given Sunday I hated it

Someone please explain to me the appeal of Rudy. The dude who played Frodo's sidekick seriously over-acted, I think. So many of the scenes I was laughing aloud at how absurd it was. Looked like a made for TV movie for Hallmark or Lifetime. Sorry, I'm sure Notredame football is gospel for some so I'm sure I'll see backlash, but why people like Rudy, I really don't get. I know it's supposed to be an underdog movie, but there are SO MANY better examples of films with a similar theme.

Remember the Titans was very good, but then again I generally like Bruckheimer.
